The
Francis A. Henninger Grant Program is a breakthrough offering from
Henninger Consulting.
The
goal is to make newspaper design services affordable for every
newspaper—especially those with limited circulation, revenue and staff
size.
The
program is an effort to reach out to those publishers and editors who
believe their newspapers can't receive professional design assistance.
Ultimately, the objective is to bring a new level of design, direction
and distinction to those papers that qualify.
The
grant is named for my father, Francis A. Henninger, who believed in
hard work, commitment to family and giving to others without any desire
for recognition. Dad never made it to high school, sacrificing his
education to help in his father's shop as a printer's devil. He'd be
proud to know this plan to help small newspapers carries his name.
The
program is simple: It's a way for your newspaper to benefit from a
redesign at a significantly reduced investment. The amount of your
grant is based on criteria such as ownership, staff size, cycle and
circulation.
Applying
for the grant is easy: The form is only two sides of one sheet of
paper. You can complete it in less than five minutes.
If
you're interested, please contact Henninger Consulting:
Perhaps you're comfortable with the look of your newspaper—but you know
some other editors or publishers who would benefit from the grant.
Please pass the word and welcome them to contact us.
